17A Elevator Pitch No. 2
1) The pitch.
Elevator Pitch No. 2
2) A reflection on the feedback you received from your last pitch.
- I only got one comment on my last elevator pitch, but I believe is still provided insight for this pitch. I am usually good at speeches and elevator pitches in person, but doing it online has been a challenge for me because I don't know where to look and I feel weird about using my hands when I talk. I do believe I have to show more energy during my pitch because it is something that I am creating and should be proud about.
3) What did you change, based on the feedback?
- Based on the feedback I received, I tried to be more dynamic with my pitch and excited about the product. I felt as though I was somewhat monotone in my first pitch too so I tried to fluctuate my voice during certain points in my pitch.
Hello Jenna,
ReplyDeleteYou volume was great! You sounded very knowledge about the effects essential oils has on one's body and explained your product thoroughly. You clearly stated your target audience who could buy the products, such as chiropractic offices and individuals. I also have a hard time video taping myself for this assignment and thought my first sales pitch was monotone. You did a great job adding fluctuations in your voice.
Your pitch was very clear and easy to understand. While I didn't see your last pitch to compare it to, I think you did a good job fluctuating your voice. And while I don't personally agree that essential oils are a suitable substitute for OTC medications, I think you did a great job explaining your pitch and selling your service.
ReplyDeleteHey Jenna,
ReplyDeleteI also did not receive a lot of feed back on my last elevator pitch video and had to evaluate it myself too. I think that your observations were honest and constructive and that you were really able to make the changes necessary to improve your pitch. However, I think if you could move more, and try standing and taking a couple of steps around the frame while filming will really show your active engagement in the customers watching. Overall, I love what you are doing.
Hey Jenna,
ReplyDeleteI think you did an excellent job on your elevator pitch. You portrayed knowledge for your product, which is important when trying to get possible investors to view you as credible and trustworthy. You spoke at a good volume and you were very easy to understand.
